Since summer has officially come we start craving fresh ice-cream and popsicles, so here’s a recipe for making fruit popsicles at home!
(I’ve decided to use mango, apricots and yogurt but you can use the fruit you prefer the most as well as you can use one single fruit for each popsicle rather than making them with more flavors)
INGREDIENTS (for 5 popsicles but quantities can vary according to the size of the popsicle tin you have):
– 10 tea spoons of white yogurt with no sugar
– one mango
– 3 apricots
– 6 tea spoons of honey (or the sweetener you prefer)
Cut the mango into pieces, add two tea spoons of honey and blend them all with a blender.
Put the smoothie into your popsicle shaped tin and let it rest in the freezer for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, mix 10 tea spoons of yogurt with 2 tea spoons of honey (if the yogurt you’re using already contains sugar I would not add any sweetener). Put it into the popsicle shaded tin and let it rest in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Do the same thing with the last fruit. So wash and cut the apricots, add 2 tea spoons of honey and blend it all together. Put the smoothie into the tin and close the tin.
Let the popsicles in the freezer for a night (ora at least for 4 hours).
